The other thing that interests me in the kind of literary cultural realm is works that kind of experiment with other genres or other modes of narrative, for instance, that step outside of some of our very familiar narratives of decline. Or narratives of catastrophe or tragedy. Are there ways we can leverage comic narratives, the absurd, and satire to approach some of the environmental challenges that we’re facing?
